He's almost three and the treacherous threes have begun. He's dramatic, throwing more tantrums, becoming quite opinionated, bossy, mouthy...yep...that about sums it up. I had forgotten how much I dislike this stage. It was hard age for Ian, but, I think it's going to be worse with Drew. He's such a smart little guy and he knows what pushes my buttons and when he's in one of his little moods....he pushes away.
OK...as I'm posting this he came in with a book and proceeded to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star to me. How sweet.
How can he be so sweet one moment and then a terror the next? Ah...we will survive.

Ha! Oh, those precocious three-year-olds. I totally remember that stage! Everyone had warned about the "terrible two's" so when we breezed through that year, I thought we had it in the bag. Oh no. How come no one warns you about the "terrible three's"? :)
Wow, you summed up our house as well. Nice one minute and a total terror the next. Good luck!!!
"You always hear watch out for the terrible two's" But I have found with both of my older children 3 was the worst. Oh and 10! That should give you something to look forward too. :-) But mixed with the terrible is always the sweet! Lots of wet kisses and hugs!! I cherish those!!

I totally agree w/ Valerie.... it was the terrible, no good, threes that nearly put my in a looney bin. They can be so cute yet so maddening. The good news is that you will make it through....with flying colors. I just feel it in my bones. Hugs!
Since we are smack dab in the middle of 3....I know exactly what you are talking about. Bossy! oh yes. They even boss around the stuffed animals! It is hard to believe Drew is approaching 3! wow!!
