We're almost to day 3 and everyone is still alive. Charlie looks a bit worn...but not too bad. Drew's had a rough week. He's not feeling great and now his "routine" is messed up. Not much "schooling" is actually taking place...but they're making it through the day.
Today was haircut day for Drew. He looks so cute. He looks like such a little boy. I wanted to take a picture tonight, but the time got away from me and it was bed time. Ian is trying really hard to be a good big brother. Some days...hours...minutes are better than others.
Children really do pick up on things that you say. Ian's latest phrases "you're wasting my time"...."do you hear me?"....."listen to me"..."you're not listening to me"....I'm waiting for the day that something really inappropriate comes out of his sweet little mouth. I've tried REALLY hard to clean up my mouth and watch what I'm saying around the boys.
I'm trying to convince Charlie to post on the blog about one of his days with the boys at Daddy School. Maybe he will soon.
I'm REALLY looking forward to Christmas. I think we're going to put the Christmas tree up this weekend. I won't put the decorations on it until Thanksgiving evening...but between the cats, Ian and Drew...everyone needs to get used to the tree in the living room. Honestly, I've wanted to put it up since Halloween and Charlie has ignored me.

Nadra, I think Charlie should start a whole blog dedicated to Daddy School! LOL! I hear ya on the whole "cleaning up the mouth" thing. You would think that wouldn't even be an issue for me, but I am a very expressive person. It'll come back to bite me someday.
Glad that the boys are off to a smooth start and I'm all for getting the tree up!!! The sooner the better...can we just leave it up all year long?

I think I will have to put our tree up on a table or something...my little one may be trying to crawl up it! She is into everything....decorations are a maybe this year! :)

Charlie has to start blogging. I know Chris could probably use some pointers in the daddy department. LOL!!!
And I totally get you on the potty mouth. I'm trying to get better but it's hard when you have lived without kids for as long as we have. The last think I want is Bennett's first word to be &@*%#!!!
Come on Charlie, we want to hear from you too~!!! I have had to clean up my mouth too... Layne Nhi's latest phrase when we ask her to work on flashcards or pick up something is "are you kidding me?" hands on the hips and everything....
Put that tree up girl! We already have 2 up and love them. Christmas is here and gone too quickly. Enjoy it while you can!

How fun! Charlie definitely needs to put up his tips on Daddy School for the rest of the daddies! The boys keep growing so fast... and boy do we need to start cleaning up our terrible habits around the house and TV time... argh!
Haha Nadra! I have a bad habit of saying "Good Grief Micah!" When I'm upset, and he just repeated that our assistant pastor's wife the other day at church. Oops!!! ;)
Hey did you see the hometown was voted unhealthiest place in America? Wonderful! What a way to have us on the map, right? ;) Hugs to you girl!
Can't wait to see the new haircut! Tell Charlie we want to hear a good Daddy school story....although maybe after a day with the boys he is just too tired to type!! Or is that me.....
Joseph got his hair cut today. He looks so grown up now. I need to get a picture also.
As for the mouth, Joseph is now saying Pay Attention. Not a great thing for a 2yo to say really.
